I often draw from CBT, ACT and DBT-informed approaches when helpful, particularly for grounding, emotional regulation, and building coping strategies. However, the therapeutic relationship is always the foundation of our work. Feeling safe and understood comes first.

My work is rooted in person-centred and trauma-informed values. This means therapy moves at your pace, with your consent and choice at the centre of our work. Together, we may gently explore emotions, patterns, and responses that developed to help you survive difficult experiences — always with compassion and without judgement.

I am a dedicated therapist, equipped with extensive training and accreditation with the Britsh Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. I also work in Mental Health Services in the NHS & have previously worked for MacMillan Cancer Trust.
My goal is to create a space for you to explore your feelings.
Together, we will navigate your personal challenges and work towards your personal goals or meaningful change.

Reaching out for support is a significant step, and finding a therapist who feels safe and understanding is essential. To support this, I offer a free (no obligation) initial session of up to 50-minutes, giving you the opportunity to see whether we feel like the right fit before committing to therapy. Alternatively you may simply want a pre 15 minute telephone appointment, to ask any questions you might have.

On deciding to become a client, you are then invited to manage your own sessions on my simple, easy to navigate-online portal.
